The vocabulary is from the “Three Quls”:

Surah Ikhlas, Falaq, Nas from the Quran-ul-Kareem

Definitions taken from Miftah-ul-Quran—Key to The Holy Quran, by Rev. Ahmad Shah, The Book House, Lahore, Pakistan (written in 1906). I included variations of the words found in other parts of the Quran.

صمد

samad: sublime, everlasting

لم

lam: not

فلق

falaq: daybreak, breaking forth

فالق

faaliq: one who causes to break forth

انفلق

anfalaqa: was cloven

غسّاق

ghassaaq: corruption that flows from the bodies of the damned

غسق

ghasaqa: he has caused darkness, the commencement of night

غاسق

ghaasiq: one who causes darkness, the moon, also the commencement of darkess

وقب

waqab: to overspread

نفّاثات

naffaathaat: the women who blow on knots

عقدة

‘uqdah: a knot, tie

عقود

‘uqood: a compact

خناس

khanaas: the devil

خنّس

khunnas: stars

صدر

sadr: the breast, the bosom

صدور

sudoor: breasts

يصدر

yasduru: will proceed or go down

يصدر

yasdur: will return
